Terms & Conditions

By purchasing on https://tapdiy.co.uk / https://tapdiy.co.uk, you confirm acceptance of the below terms and conditions. You must be at least 18 years of age and be able to legally accept delivery within the UK.

Description of Goods

All product images, specifications and descriptions are intended only to give a rough description of the goods you receive. We do our best to ensure we provide you with descriptions that are accurate and we advise that you take professional advice from your qualified installers before you do start installation. It’s your responsibility to inspect the goods that you receive prior to installation.

Delivery Information

It is your responsibility to ensure that you check the items for any damage before you schedule any installation.

In rare circumstances, some of our products may not be in stock and will need to be ordered for you. We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days of the order being placed. Goods are always subject to stock levels and delay most often is for factors beyond our control. If your order is not due to dispatch within 3 working days, we will notify you by email and give you a few options which include: option to wait, cancel your order and receive a refund or exchange your product.


All goods are required to be paid on the completion of an order and ALL funds must clear before we can dispatch your order. We accept most major credit and debit cards including Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any payment before we dispatch the order without any notice.

Delivery Charges

Delivery is FREE for orders over £99, we charge £4.99 for orders under £99. Delivery Information can be found here.


It’s important that you are completely satisfied with your Tap DIY order. If you’re not fully satisfied with your order, we offer the following option:

  • 30 days to return your item for a full refund back to original payment method

Any refund will be credited back to your original payment method that you paid with.

Hassle-Free Returns & Exchanges

Please contact us before you proceed to sending any items back.

If you have decided you no longer want a product, you have 30 days from the delivery date to return it for a full refund. After 30 days, we offer the option to return the product up to 45 days from the delivery date for a credit note to use on our website. Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date they are issued.


If you decide to change your mind and would like to exchange your product(s) for something else on www.tapdiy.co.uk, this is possible. Please let us know within 45 days from the delivery date via live chat or by email. Once we receive your product and check it has not been used, we will arrange to deliver the new product of your choice. If the replacement product costs more than the original product, we will contact you to arrange payment for the additional cost, and if the value is less we will refund your card within a maximum of 45 days.

Damaged Goods

We package our products with care so damaged goods is fairly rare. It’s very important you inspect your product when it’s delivered to you. If you receive a damaged good during inspection, let our delivery partner know or get in touch with us so that we can assist you.

Faulty Products

If there is an issue with the product purchased, please get in touch with us via live chat or email us at hello@tapdiy.co.uk. Please do not send the item back before contacting us. We will ensure to resolve manufacturing defects and faulty goods quickly.
